New patients
Your first visit, start to finish.
Your first appointment sets the baseline for everything that follows, and it's also how we get to know each other. Below is how that visit is usually structured, along with the insurance and payment options.
What to expect
Four things happen.
01
We talk first.
We review your medical and dental history and ask what brought you in — the tooth that aches, the cleaning you're overdue for, the thing you've been putting off.
02
A complete exam.
Oral cancer screening, periodontal evaluation, an analysis of how your bite comes together, and a careful look at your teeth and the structures around them.
03
Digital X-rays.
Digital images that come up on screen right away, so we can look at them together rather than describe them to you.
04
A plan, in plain language.
What's urgent, what can wait and what it will cost, sequenced around your schedule and your budget.
Paperwork
Nothing to print.
Registration and medical history are handled digitally. They go out ahead of the appointment and can be filled in from a phone, so there's no clipboard waiting for you at the door. Bring a photo ID and your insurance card if you have one. If you're coming from another office, mention it when you call — records and recent X-rays can usually be transferred.

Insurance
Where insurance fits in.
We accept most major PPO plans. Call with your carrier and member ID and we can go over your coverage before the appointment, so the estimate you get is close to what you'll actually pay.
Financing
Paying for care.
We work with most PPO plans.
In network with most major carriers, and out-of-network plans are welcome too. Call the office and we can tell you where yours lands.
Cards, cash or check.
Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover, plus cash, personal checks and monthly payment options available.

Monthly Payment
CareCredit financing.
For larger treatment plans we offer low-interest financing through CareCredit, so a crown or an implant can be paid off over months rather than all at once. Applications can be started in the office.
